Aviation & Specialised Operations ERP

When the aircraft runs but the certification layer is the constraint,

The operating layer underneath is the work.

We deliver the operating layer for certification-heavy specialised operations — pilot training, document expiry, multi-currency payroll, audit trail.

For Your Role

What This Page Gives You

Director of Operations

The operation runs against the certification clock

Pilot, medical, instructor, and simulator expiries tracked. Renewal workflows triggered before the window closes.

Chief Pilot / Head of Training

Student progress, instructor utilisation, simulator hours in one view

The system supports the day — flights logged, sims booked, certifications captured, surveys completed.

CFO

Multi-currency payroll that reconciles

Instructor payroll across jurisdictions handled natively. Student billing across currencies handled natively. Month-end is a button.

Regulatory & Compliance Lead

Audit-ready document expiry and certification trail

Every certification has a captured signature, expiry, renewal history. Audit evidence is the byproduct of work.

Operating Reality

What Makes an Aviation Operating Layer Hard

  1. 01

    Certifications are first-class entities

Pilot ratings, instructor authorisations, medical certifications, student progress checks. Each has an expiry, a renewal path, a regulator behind it. The system either treats them as entities or the operation runs paper.

  2. 02

    Document expiry is operating risk

Licences, medicals, simulator authorisations. Tracking them is non-negotiable; missing them is a regulatory event.

  3. 03

    Multi-currency payroll is the norm

Cross-jurisdiction instructors, contractor pilots, international students paying in their currency. Native multi-currency handling, not a translation step.

  4. 04

    Scheduling is a multi-resource problem

Aircraft + simulator + instructor + student + classroom + weather. The operating layer supports the constraint solver, even if a human is still doing the scheduling.

  5. 05

    Survey workflows are formal evidence

Video-question surveys, instructor sign-offs, student acknowledgments — captured, audited, retained.

Named Client

Specialised Operations We've Delivered For

The single-client scope is the honest framing. We do not claim aviation MRO, FBO, charter, or airline operations expertise. We claim flight-training-operations depth at one named client, with discipline that transfers to other certification-heavy specialised operations.

Fit Assessment

When We're the Right Partner

Ready if

An aviation engagement is the right move when you operate aviation training, a flight school, or a similarly certification-heavy business, document expiry and multi-currency payroll are real day-to-day operating realities, and leadership wants the operating layer engineered, not stitched across SaaS tools.

Too early if

It's too early when you operate an MRO, FBO, charter, or scheduled airline (different operating model; we have not delivered for these), you want a generic training-SaaS replacement, or there's no internal owner for the certification / document-expiry discipline.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you only work with flight schools?

Our named delivery is flight training (Pier 7 Aviation). The operating-layer discipline transfers to other certification-heavy specialised operations. We are honest that flight training is the depth and broader specialised-ops is the inference.

Do you handle MRO, FBO, or charter operations?

Not at present. Pier 7 is flight training; MRO and charter have different operating models and we have not delivered for them.

How do you handle pilot / instructor document expiry?

Document-expiry modules track each licence, medical, rating, and authorisation with an expiry date, renewal reminder, and audit trail. Renewal workflows trigger before expiry, not after.

What about multi-currency payroll?

Native multi-currency payroll handles instructor compensation across currencies and jurisdictions. The reality is the operating model; the system supports it without controller-side translation.

Are you a certified aviation software vendor?

No. No ERP is "regulator-certified" by itself; the operation that uses it is the certified or audited party. We deliver the operating layer with the controls regulators expect (document expiry, audit trail, role-based access, signed actions). Certification belongs to the operating entity, whichever regulator they answer to.
